Good Samaritan Grants
Good Samaritan grants of $10,000 or less are available to support community-based programs that are largely volunteer-driven or programs of nonprofit organizations with annual budgets under $100,000. The programs must be designed to meet the health, education, or social services needs of the poor and underserved. The Foundation staff review Good Samaritan on a rolling basis see Apply for a Grant.

Responsive Grants
Responsive grants fund requests from established organizations. As the board of directors periodically refines its areas of interest, the Foundation may limit the number of responsive proposals it accepts to those that specifically complement its strategic direction. The Foundation staff review Responsive requests four times per year (see How to Apply for deadlines).
