SISTERS OF CHARITY FOUNDATION AWARDS $1,088,533
Canton, Ohio (May 30, 2019) The Board of Directors of the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Canton has announced $1,088,533 in grants for the first and second quarters of 2019.
Foundation President Joni Close stated, “The diversity of organizations serving our community is impressive. The passion and commitment of the frontline staff of these agencies is, quite simply, awe inspiring. Our hope is that as we continue striving to fulfill the mission of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine, we also recognize, support, and honor those individuals who make a difference.”

Based on the vision of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine, the Foundation is committed to addressing the needs of the poor and underserved by understanding the root causes of poverty, nurturing the growth of healthy communities, emphasizing youth and family, and measuring the outcomes of these efforts.
